Joe + Tami are a fun-loving couple who wanted their wedding day to be laid-back + lighthearted. That is what they got with the beautiful hillside with a flowing river in the backdrop of their ceremony. They incorporated some kick ass camouflage vests, being as Joe is an outdoorsman and the bridesmaids followed suit with their earthy gowns. Tami was inspired with this look and beautifully crafted her centre pieces and her wedding decor. Her personal touches made this day look sensational.
Stacee and Karen have very laid-back personalities, so when it came to their wedding they wanted it to reflect their personalities in a fun, playful, and a rustic way. They had a very intimate, country ceremony on Stacee's grandparents farm. This location was a key spot to making their day special to them. The rustic, chic decor, beautifully captivated the mood and the rustic romance between these two.
The design aspects of Mitch and Chantel's playful farm wedding were inspired by the rustic surroundings of their families original homestead, as well as their love of all things country! Their homemade arbor, the use of bales for seating, the gunshot shells for centre pieces were all so personal to making their day that much better. It was so them, so very unique, and being one of their friends, I can't see them having it any other way.
I just need to add that the moment Chantel walked down the aisle, and Mitch saw his soon to be wife for the first time in her gorgeous lace dress, THAT reaction is why I love what I do!
Kaley + Chase's chic Souris wedding was filled with tons of gorgeous, classic details and some of the prettiest florals I’ve seen! The Souris and Glenwood Golf Club was the perfect place to bring their family and friends together for a sweet and meaningful celebration. They had a very talented team of vendors who helped them create their dream wedding and everything was perfectly captured. The lush greens on an overcast day was the cherry on top. Their portraits were beyond stunning. I could go back to this day and do it all over again!
I remember this day not only because of how amazing Renee + Keaton's wedding looked but how much it rained. Did I mention their ceremony was outside. It rained so hard the entire day and night. They were so awesome that they just went for it anyways and it all turned out absolutely remarkable. I love a good ol rustic wedding, with endless amounts of lace and babies breath. Renee was an absolute beauty and Keaton of course cleaned up real nice. The two of them celebrated their marriage on the family farm with the most charming surroundings. The farm life means so much to these two that they incorporated canola fields, farm machinery and the coolest granary bar hut ever!
The glitz and glam of this wedding was fancy as heck. Sequins everything. From her shoes, to her bouquet, the beautiful reception decor, and lets not forget their ray of personality haha. Darren + Nichole really made their day enticing and romantic and it sure shows in the way they are together. It was a cloudy day with a little bit of rain but that didn't stop these two from having one of the most memorable days of their lives.
When Adam + Carmen asked me to be apart of their day I was more then thrilled. I couldn't wait to capture two of my good friends saying their I DO's! Then they told me their location..... I was even more excited.
It all started in one of the chalets in Elkhorn Resort in Clear Lake, MB. I got to watch my gorgeous friend get ready for her big day. (Seriously she's beautiful) Then we went to the wishing well. If you haven't been, you must go! It is a gorgeous spot for a wedding. The Groom came down on a pontoon boat of all things. haha
After such a beautiful moment as they became husband and wife we took off for the wedding portraits. We walked around and found all these amazing spots. The dock, log cabin, gardens, the side of a road. Its Clear Lake, its all beautiful. Then the canoes, the big colourful, picture worthy canoes! haha. So much colour, yet woodsy background. It was perfect for the bride and groom portraits.
We ended back to Danceland. WOW! Carmen and Adam's elegant wedding was out of this world. You need to scroll down and see for yourself. This wedding was breathtaking.
Any Harry Potter fans out there? Well how about Harry Potter with an elegant twist? I love both those things, and this wedding was fantastic.
Just outside Brandon, Mb at Shady Lane Tea Room, Mitch + Sarah pronounced their love for each other. It was simple yet a perfect touch of magical. Their reception decor was so wonderful with their touches of Potter at the guest signing, to their table pieces and the twinkly lights. They used the perfect mix of class with white on white and the touches of green.
I also can't forget the romance behind it all when we were capturing their love for one another. We ended up at the north hill ACC campus. The red brick and the beautiful grounds was a perfect place to take some photographs. Mitch can make Sarah smile so big, how can I not get the picture perfect moment.
DIY weddings are always so unique to be apart of. I love looking at all the detail and the creativity of each couple. Tyrel + Marcie's wedding was one of those spectacular weddings. Marcie the next Martha Stewart with her craftiness took the time and made her own wedding shoes, veils (YES, two of them!), flowers, centre pieces, and much more. One talented lady I tell ya. Their ceremony was inside the Derrick Theatre. A small town movie theatre in Virden, MB to which they spend quite a bit of time at together. Everything was so personal to them. Even their locations for their photos were to great to be true. Take a look and see for yourself, it truly was an amazing day.
April is always such a beautiful time of the year. Snow is gone, the sun is out, everything is just splendid. Randy + Kristine got married in a very quaint church in Alexander, MB. I am so happy that I got to capture their love on their very special day.
