Myself and my extremely talented gal pals ( and Devon lol ) got together and collaborated this stunning, and creative styled shoot. We put our talents and our resources together and literally made this moody, prairie, elopement look so freak’n good.
Nikki from Plaza Petals Floral Shoppe in Souris, helped design the look and made the most incredible floral pieces. Using all dark tones and natural elements that were right around us. The massive bouquet, the ceremony ring, and the centre piece at the farmhouse table from (Another Man’s Treasure) all were the hard work from this girl. She literally knows how to blow any bride away. She’s amazing. If you’re planning a wedding, then you know the best way to add drama and coziness to your look is with seasonal florals. From moody to vibrant blooms balanced with neutral tones, Nikki sure knows how to build a wedding bouquet that are as unique as they are stunning, and would be the perfect addition to brides day.
Then of course there is Jill Landry, make up artist of the century. Well thats how I like to think of her. She seriously is superb. Whether you are a beauty junky or you just want to look the best on your day, You have probably spent a little time thinking about your make up. All eyes are on you on your wedding day, not to mention the cameras following you around the capture the celebration, which means you’re going to want your makeup to be extra on point! Besides deciding whether to emphasize your eyes or lips, Jill is your go to girl and can help you on the way and make you look like your best self.
I am sure you already spotted out Farran and Devon. You probably haven’t stopped staring at their exquisite look. They were a dream to work with. From the very start, when we started picking out the look and style and the feel we were all going for, Farran had it all. She is the best model that any photog could ask for. Fun, laid back and down to earth, Devon too. You guys were the best xox

I can't say enough about how much I adore Keegan and Michelle’s backyard wedding! There is so much to love, from all the personalized details to each and every loving, sweet moment. The shades of grey, navy and soft pinks in the floral design brought the atmosphere of a warm Manitoba autumn to life. Lets also stop and enjoy the intricate detail of this stunning gown from Muse Bridal. It has my jaw hitting the floor and mesmerized by its beauty. Take me back to the whispering willows so I can capture this all over again.
From bold and daring, to soft and romantic, Samantha knew how to put it all together. It was as sparkle and glamour met ruggedly handsome and woodsy. The decor was nothing but minimal, the focus on gold accents, bold florals, and rich pops of color and so much sparkle created a truly elegant look and feel that was perfect for a summer wedding. I don’t think I can emphasize the word sparkle enough. This wedding had so much glitz and gorgeous jewels that Elton John would have been jealous! Eyeshadow, her bouquet, sequences dresses and the reception tables were all so breath taking.

Ceremony arches continue to be a favourite trend of mine in wedding decor, and 2018 has been the best yet for inspiration! This absolutely breathtaking arch, a complete, perfected circle was all custom made by the brides’s father. I mean WOW!! Speechless. It sure made an absolute statement for their day. It all didn’t end there. The mother of the groom also had talents of her own on the decor details of the reception venue and she out did herself. Plants of all kinds and succulents and just all the earthy vibes. I think this wedding had all the right touches that made Coulter and Megan’s day even more spectacular.

Between their ceremony under an archway of leaning trees and their gorgeous reception in their hometown Virden, MB, Jordan and Alexa’s wedding day in the beautiful prairies was as romantic as can be. They kept the details simple, relying on the natural landscape to set the mood and their blush pink bridesmaids dresses amongst the navy suits brought a level of laid-back elegance that was perfect for an intimate day. Is there anything sweeter than an intimate and private wedding surrounded by the ones you love and your family as the bridal party that you hold so dear? I didn’t think so either. Jeff and Rae and their lovely children, and yes their little grandchild were all apart of their magical day. They made it more special, more loving and the best day they all imagined.
Many smiles and tears of laughter were had. From one of the best first looks, I have ever partaken in, to the BEST rap off from their daughters for their welcome to the family speech and the list continues of amazing moments and memories that they get to forever cherish.
Get ready for your cheeks to hurt and perhaps some happy tears to fall, and fall some more, and well some more. Thats how this amazing day went. Not a dry eye in the house and you can see why. Caleb and Katie’s day was filled with love and overwhelming happiness as everyone from near and far came together to celebrate their day.
Using their creativity and the skills of their family members and friends, they handmade so many details for their day, including the endless memory tables, centre pieces, backdrop, and romantic touches. In true bohemian style, they mixed in vintage decor and textural florals from Plaza Petals Floral Shoppe that gave the space an effortlessly elegant yet earthy and whimsical feel.
With their best friends by their side, selfie sticks included, to being back at Katie’s childhood home, everything was perfect. They danced the night away and I mean DANCED. There may have been the epic Dirty Dancing move that Caleb gets a 10/10 for. I guarantee you’re going to want to pin every detail.
Everybody loves a good laugh, and on most wedding days there are no shortage of funny moments ready to be captured, especially at this one. Cam + Jordan’s family and friends and lets not forget everyone else on the party bus made their day THAT much more great. There was never a dull moment with their loved ones by their side.
There are few things sweeter than a wedding at home! Cam and Jordan’s intimate and eclectic wedding was full of handmade details, their homemade ceremony backdrop (Just an FYI - that was all hand painted to look like that!) and their own twist at spin the wheel at their gorgeous reception, and tons of beautiful, perfectly thought out details that made it a true one-of-a-kind celebration. Days before their romantic country wedding, a brides worst nightmare struck and Victoria broke her foot during a horse competition only 5 days before their big day. As hard as it was to overcome the pain as she walked in her boot all day, Mike and Victoria’s day was nothing short of jaw dropping. Lets start with that Glamours floral wall from Party Professionals, or the tasty homemade jams and honey, and nothing beats a good lasso party game to make the couple kiss. I could go on and on about the details and the great atmosphere and all the love that was given this day, but why don’t you take a look or yourself :)
With a ceremony and an indoor reception that sparkled in shades of gold, Breena and Brock’s wedding in their hometown Virden, Mb had charm with off the charts elegance! I captured the joy and light hearted nature of this wedding, from the sweet getting ready moments to the couple’s romantic hill side portraits to the tribute to their family and their love of muscle cars. Their reception had gold on gold decor with everything from the table linens to the centerpiece vases sparkling in the ambience. Every inch of this wedding was thoughtfully and elegantly designed, and I simply can’t get enough!
When it comes to sentimental celebrations, Sean and Marissa’s intimate backyard wedding is as sweet and perfect as it gets! Keeping it all so close to home and sharing these special moments with their close friends and family made their day even more touching. The garden arbor that they made especially for their day, surrounded by gorgeous bed of colourful plants will always be a daily reminder of when they said their I do’s. What a sweet remembrance of the day it all began.
I am honestly not sure what I loved most about this Souris Wedding: the romantic vow exchange on the cliff side of the Souris, Mb Golf course, the amazing dance party, or the bride’s romantic style! The couple made sure their laid-back personalities guided every decision of their wedding day and made for the sweetest outdoor celebration with friends and family, and once you scroll through, you will see all the small town love these two have. And should we just skip to the end and talk about the best dancing ever! Everyone was swinging each other around and the dance floor was packed, not a dry spot on the floor all night. Everything ended so perfectly, to an already phenomenal day.
With sentimental value in the Turtle Mountains, it was a no brainer for Roy and Brit to have their wedding in their rustic and natural elements of their backyard. They made their day with personal touches and DIY pieces that made it even more dreamy. Homemade signs, engraved wine glasses, lawn games that gave it a laid back country feel, and the archway that blew us all away. Everything was a beautiful reflection of their life together and what has yet to be.
A little rain on your wedding day is meant to be a good omen, and if this rainy wedding photo shoot tells us anything, Tanner and Brooke have many great years ahead. The couple headed out into the woods after they said their “I Do’s” beneath an umbrella and towering trees with their homemade arch, right in their backyard. This day was absolutely perfect and the resulting images are dreamy.
Plucked from a Disney movie itself, Bree + Brad’s wedding was everything they ever wanted. They hosted their ceremony in a charming barn at Firefly Acres, just outside Brandon, Mb, then wowed guests with stunning tablescapes and personal details that were so well suited to their celebration.
I loved capturing ever moment of this wedding in stunning detail, from getting ready excitement, to the cut-throat and yes, heartfelt speeches during the reception, and finishing it all off to the best dances moves EVER!!
The threat of rain is a worry for any couple choosing to wed in an outdoor venue, but when this rainstorm hit Karlin + Brittany’s family and friends took shelter in a beautiful treed backdrop and watched the couple speak their intimate vows, and their love for one another.
After all was said and done, this did not stop the newly wed couple and their bridal party to grab umbrellas and embrace the downpour. I think it went absolutely perfect and could not have asked for a better day.
